# Can I prevent promo codes from being used on bundle products?

Yes, this can be done using **product-level discounts**.

Shopify does not provide a way to exclude specific products or bundles from **order-level discount codes**. However, you can achieve this behavior by using **product discounts applied to a collection**.

To prevent promo codes from applying to bundle products:
1. Create a collection that includes **all products except bundle products**
Tag bundle **parent products** (for example, `foxsell-bundle`) and set the collection rule to exclude that tag.
2. Create a **product discount code** and apply it only to that collection
Do not use order-level discounts, as they apply to all products in the order.

With this setup, promo codes will work for regular products and will not apply to bundle products.
> Note: Bundle products refer to the **parent bundle product** created by FoxSell Bundles, not the individual products inside the bundle.
