Why is there only bundle product in the order and not the individual products?
If an order in Shopify appears without the intended bundle components, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
Common Reasons
- Quick Add or Buy Again Buttons:
- Customers might have added the bundle item directly through a Quick Add to Cart button or the Buy Again button available in customer accounts.
- Indicator: The order will have no line item properties.
- Unauthorized Modification of Cart Requests:
- Someone may have manually altered the Add to Cart request to include items in the bundle that are not permissible or valid.
- Indicator: The order will have weird line item properties
How to Prevent Orders Without Bundle Components
To ensure customers cannot checkout without valid bundle components, enable the FoxSell Bundles Validation function:
- Navigate to your Shopify admin panel.
- Click on Settings
- Click on Checkout
- Under the Checkout Rules section, click Add Rule.
- Select FoxSell Bundle Validation from the available options.
- Click Save.
- Finally, click Turn On to activate the validation rule.
Now, customers attempting to checkout without proper bundle components will be prevented from completing the purchase, ensuring all orders contain valid bundle configurations.
