Why Use FoxSell Buy Again?


If you're using FoxSell Bundles, you need to replace Shopify's default "Buy Again" button with FoxSell Buy Again to avoid a frustrating customer experience.


The Problem with Shopify's Default Button


When customers use Shopify's built-in "Buy Again" button (found on the order status page and customer account area) to reorder a bundle, the bundle gets added to their cart without any product details.


This means:

  • Customers can't see what's inside the bundle
  • They don't know what products they're ordering
  • The bundle appears as a single line item with no breakdown
  • This creates confusion and can lead to cart abandonment


Why This Happens


Shopify's "Buy Again" button wasn't designed to handle bundle products. It treats bundles as regular products and doesn't properly restore the bundle structure or product selections when adding them back to the cart.


How FoxSell Buy Again Fixes This


FoxSell Buy Again is a drop-in replacement for Shopify's "Buy Again" button that works seamlessly with bundles. When customers use it:

  • ✅ Product variants (size, color, etc.) are preserved

Step 1: Go to Checkout and Customer Accounts


In your Shopify admin, navigate to the Theme Editor and select Checkout and customer accounts.

Step 2: Disable Shopify's Buy Again Button


In the Settings section, find and disable the default "Reorder" or "Buy Again" button.

Step 3: Enable FoxSell Buy Again


From the Apps section in your theme customizer, enable FoxSell Buy Again.

Step 4: Verify on Orders Page


Go to your customer account orders page. You should now see FoxSell Buy Again in the order actions.

Step 5: Customize Button Text (Optional)


Click on the FoxSell Buy Again element in the theme editor to customize the button text and styling to match your store's branding.
