How do I setup infinite variants fixed bundle using Mix and Match?
Fixed bundles in Shopify are limited to 100 variants. If you need more combinations, you can build the offer as a Mix & Match bundle and make it behave like a fixed bundle by turning off Quantity as an option.
For a full click-through reference, open the Infinite Variants Fixed Bundle walkthrough.
Before you start
Use this setup when shoppers should choose one product or variant from each part of a fixed bundle, such as one foundation, one concealer, and one brush. The bundle is built with Mix & Match so you are not limited by Shopify's fixed-bundle variant count.
Step 1: Create a Mix & Match bundle
- Open FoxSell Bundles from Shopify admin.
- Click Create Bundle.
- Choose Mix & Match.
- Add the bundle name and storefront title.

Step 2: Disable quantity as an option
Turn off Quantity as an option. This keeps shoppers from choosing box sizes such as Box of 4 or Box of 6, and makes the bundle work like a fixed set where shoppers choose one item from each category.
Then enter the bundle price you want to charge.

Step 3: Add one category for each bundle item
Create one category for each product position in the bundle. For example, if the bundle should include three products, create three categories.
For each category:
- Add the category name.
- Select the product or variants shoppers can choose from.
- Repeat for the remaining bundle items.

If you need a different included quantity for a product, adjust the quantity for that category before saving.

Step 4: Create a dedicated Shopify product template
After the bundle is saved, create a product template for this bundle in Shopify.
- Go to Online Store > Themes in Shopify admin.
- Click Customize on the theme where the bundle will appear.
- Open the product template selector.
- Create a new product template, such as Infinite Variant Bundle.
- Base it on your default product template unless your theme needs a different starting point.

Step 5: Add the Mix and Match PDP block
In the new product template:
- Open the Product information section.
- Click Add block.
- Go to Apps.
- Search for Mix and Match.
- Add the Mix and Match PDP block.

If you do not see the block, message us from the in-app chat and we will help you add it.
Step 6: Remove duplicate product controls
Clean up the product template so shoppers only use the FoxSell bundle selector.
Remove or hide these default Shopify blocks from the template:
- Variant picker
- Quantity selector
- Buy buttons

Step 7: Add color swatches, optional
If your products use color-based options, you can make the selector more visual with swatches.
- Open the Mix and Match block settings.
- Add the option name, such as Color.
- Add option values with their hex codes.
- Save the theme changes.

Skip this step if your products do not need swatches.
Step 8: Assign the template to the bundle product
Open the Shopify product created for the bundle.
- Set the product status to Active.
- Add product media if needed.
- In the theme template setting, choose the template you created.
- Click Save.

Step 9: Test the storefront and checkout
Open the bundle product on your storefront and test the full shopper flow.
Confirm that:
- The Mix and Match selector appears on the product page.
- Shoppers can choose the right variants or products in each category.
- The bundle adds to cart correctly.
- Cart and checkout show the bundled items together.
